Maer Group is a Sunshine Coast-based agency specialising in marketing and business strategy for the hospitality industry. We’re currently looking for an outstanding hands-on hospitality marketer to join our team, with a fast track progression through to a management position after an initial 6-month training period.
About the role:
The Marketing Account Coordinator is responsible for assisting with client management, strategy development and consulting across our established client base of clubs, pubs and hospitality suppliers.
Reporting to the Account Director, the position will support the customer facing deliverables for the business. This includes coordinating client requests and providing support across direct marketing, loyalty, promotions and digital advertising.
The role will also contribute to the consulting services for Maer Group, through analysis, research, strategy development and preparation of client reports.
Must have:
- 3+ years experience in marketing coordinator or management role
- Tertiary marketing qualifications, and/or equivalent industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work semi-autonomously and as part of a team
- Permanent work rights in Australia
Good to have:
- Experience in hospitality, preferably including marketing of venues with gaming machines
- Proficiency with gaming industry systems and CRMs
- Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite
- Agency experience
